When I first began Everly’s Embrace, my main goal was to send hand crochet bunnies around the world to bereaved families as a form of bereavement support, raising awareness for Everly’s life and the important issue of infant loss awareness. I wanted to weave my daughter’s life into as many lives as I could, ensuring she became a part of their story, just as they became a part of hers. We started off as a small Facebook Group, where families hosting her traveling bunnies would post pictures with them. These bunnies have traveled to many countries around the world, and I intend to keep them journeying and spreading Everly’s love and embrace as far as I can.
